Costa Blanca Info
The name "Costa Blanca" is derived from its
beaches of white sand stretching for miles.
However, there are many other reasons for the
popularity of this region.

With around 300 days of sunshine a year and an
average annual temperature of 19º, the Costa Blanca enjoys a very special climate which even the World Health Organization WHO categorizes as one of the healthiest in the world.
The natural beauty of the area is stunning. Gently sloping sandy beaches are followed by romantic coves, a hilly hinterland leads up to majestic mountains. Orange and lemon groves give a green tinge to the coastal area, and in February millions of almond trees in bloom turn the terraced valleys into magical carpets of flowers.

But the needs of daily life have not been forgotten. There is a very well established health and
education system with international hospitals and schools which are adapted to the needs of
foreign residents, too. There is much to discover on the cultural scene, and numerous restaurants will spoil your taste-buds with a great variety of dishes that form part of the much vaunted Mediterranean cuisine.

Whether on the coast or in the immediate hinterland, whether as a sportsperson or a hobby
gardener, whether still working or retired - there are all sorts of reasons why the Costa Blanca
could become your second home!
